Hard Rock Portable Drilling Rig Machine
The drilling and bolting machines were specifically designed for Foresight Energy to be used in their mine located in the Illinois Coal Basin. The initial two machines were shipped and are currently being used in production at the coal mine. The mining method used at this particular mine is room and pillar with coal being extracted by way of a Continuous Miner, followed by bolter that installs mesh and rib bolts. The entry width of their operation is five point forty nine–six point one meters with a mining height of two point forty four–four point twenty seven meters.
Mining dilling macine operation platform, tramming components, hydraulic system, feed beam and rotary head are upgradmed from the original tooptimize the functional capability of the Drill Rig. Piston tramming motor greatlyincreases the work life of tramming mechanism, Upgraded operation platformcan be controlled by one operator instead of two, to increase the work efficiencywhile lowering dilling cost.
