The machine is equipped with the Intelligent Control System Architecture, a proven drilling system with nine different hole type settings. It also offers three alternative control methods: manual drilling control, feed percussion follow-up, and intelligent torque control. Another feature of  it is its boom control system with three different modes for manual boom control.
The rock drill meanwhile is said to provide 17% higher penetration rates, 40% longer life for the shank, as well as 17% longer bit life compared to its predecessor.
